Atlanta United FC has announced its plans for an exciting Soccer Celebration in anticipation of FIFA World Cup 2026™. This initiative aims to engage fans throughout the city with live viewings of World Cup matches at popular soccer venues, curated exhibits at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and art displays in various museums. The celebration will take place from May through August, coinciding with the club's role as a host for international matches and the Uzbekistan National Team's training camp at their facilities. Mike Ridley, Vice President of Marketing at Atlanta United FC, emphasized the importance of connecting fans with the global game and creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout Atlanta. The Soccer Celebration will feature multiple activations, including partnerships with local pubs for viewing parties and family-friendly activities in Decatur Square during the Decatur WatchFest ‘26. Additionally, Atlanta United FC will showcase its presence in the art community through collaborations with local museums, including an exhibit on soccer's impact on human rights and culture. This initiative is designed to bring together fans, families, and visitors to celebrate the beautiful game and the spirit of Atlanta United FC.
